In case you hadn't heard.

Monday evening at 9:52, Park Frisco Lindeman entered the world weighing in at 8 pounds, one ounce and measuring 20 inches—22 counting the hair. We're also happy to report that he came complete with everything he was supposed to have and nothing that he wasn't.

It was a long day for us—especially Carrie. We arrived at Wesley at 7:30 to start the induction, but things didn't really start to progress until late in the afternoon which ultimately led up to a two-and-a-half hour marathon of pushing for Carrie—which I have to say was quite impressive. You'd never guess it by looking at her, but she's tough as nails.

The following are just of few photos from the past couple of days.

Here's Park moments after birth (ha, that's kind of funny, get it? Afterbirth? Don't judge me, after you've seen what I've seen that's the kind of thing that I find funny.)

Here's Carrie's first look at her new son.

Vice versa.

The whole family (well, not the "whole" family, they wouldn't buy that Zoe and Luka were therapy dogs).

Breaking out the "Big Boy Brush" during bath time.

A rested Carrie and Park.

Craig's soothing technique.

The official hospital photo shoot.

We also shot some video of today's homecoming, but it's the first time we've used the new camera and we are having trouble uploading the files. As soon as we can get that fixed (which may be a while) we'll get it up. Until then, this concludes the first of several posts in this series.

Park is changing almost every hour.
He is definitely a boy.

His hair is black, thick and can be parted. Craig had hair like this once.

He will be our surfer/rocker/nature dude.

Park seems to be laid back just like his Gma Barbie! I mean Carrie.

He is a lucky little boy that came home to a room that was thoughtly and beautifully put together by both a mom and dad that are so talented in not one thing, but
many.

Park, you will have to go to your cousin Hagen site to read what Gma B. wrote.

143 and Hagen 44. You have my hearts.

Yay! So glad everyone is home safe and sound. The picture of Carrie seeing Park for the first time after her 2+ hour marathon just about had me crying. Your public demands nursery pictures soon!

Much love to all 3 of you,
Heather

Life doesn't get any better than hearing your grandbaby's first cry outside the delivery room door. Thanks for allowing us that moment! I will treasure it always. He is a beautiful baby boy that we are so in love with already.

Beautiful pictures.

Can't wait for Scott & Erin's little boo boo to arrive in December.

Love, Mimi
